Computers
We have a ratio of one computer to five students, with computers in each classroom as well as a computer room with a data show projector where a whole class can work at the same time. Digital cameras, video cameras, scanners and multi-media software allow students to present their work in many formats.
Dental Service
The SA Dental Service on site provides general dental care through the clinic. Care is free of charge for primary age children. Emphasis is placed on the prevention of dental disease through treatment procedures, advice on diet and methods of cleaning the teeth.

Resource Centre
Para Hills Schools has two well-equipped Resource Centres that are large, open and easily accessible. Our computerised Resource Centres services all children from Reception to Year 7 who are welcome to borrow from our wide range of resources. The teacher-librarian teaches specific research skills and encourages children's interest in reading for pleasure and information.
Music
Instrumental Music Lessons are offered in guitar, keyboard and flute. Each year, students also participate in the Festival of Music Choir.
Gym
Our school hall is well-equipped with equipment and is frequently used by classes for indoor physical education activities, assemblies and concerts. The gym is also available/used after hours by our community for Tai-Chi, Dance and Callisthenics.
Pottery
The school students come to pottery classes for 5 weeks. They use their hands and fingers, developing different skills, to make clay pieces. The children make some wonderful items, and are proud of how capable they are. Students also pour a slip-cast mould, working on this piece for 3 weeks, again developing colourful items which they are eager to take home.
