Preschool
The Para Hills Preschool is a fully equipped Preschool facility on the school site, run by qualified school staff with high level expertise in Early Years Education.
Being on the school site means that children have excellent opportunities to transition from playgroup, to preschool to school. Children attending the Para Hills Preschool have regular access to school resources and experiences including the computer room, resource centre, special events and specialist equipment and services.
All children are eligible to attend 4 sessions of preschool per week after they have turned 4. Some children are eligible to attend at an earlier age.
Sessions Times
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday
8.45am – 11.30am
Or 12.30pm – 3.00pm
*Full day sessions available on request
Pre-entry Wednesday 8.45am - 11.00am
Some full day sessions are available. These need to be negotiated with
centre staff. We do our best to be flexible and meet the needs of children
and families. If your child attends for a full day, a small additional
fee is charged.
Our program allows children to follow their interests, express ideas and learn to play together. Children develop and practice skills important for their future learning.
Children start school at the beginning of each term after they turn 5 years old. In the term before they start the children will have the opportunity to spend time getting to know their new class and if possible, their classroom teacher.
We welcome any enquiries and offer tours of the preschool and school on request.
