Attendance

Regular attendance is vital for your child/ren’s successful learning and social connections. Good attendance is an indicator of good academic success.
If your child is sick, he/she should remain at home until well. It is a legal requirement for you to notify the school about children’s absences. The most convenient way to do this is by contacting the class teacher on DOJO or phoning the school on 8264 2033. We are required to record the reason for absences particularly when this relates to an illness which may be contagious, or which will affect the child’s performance at school.

If your child arrives late or leaves early, it is a requirement of the Department for Education that this is recorded. Parents are required to sign students in/out at the front office before proceeding to the classroom.
